iHeartRadio Expands To Australia

The Australian Radio Network (ARN) has launched digital music service iHeartRADIO in Beta in Australia.

The Australian launch of iHeartRADIO is the first expansion of the service outside of the United States.

With the launch of iHeartRadio in Australialisteners will also soon have access to Clear Channel’s 850 live radio stations in the USA.

In the USA, the iHeartRADIO app has been downloaded more than 170 million times and generates over 60 million listeners a month for Clear Channel.

ARN is jointly owned by Clear Channel Broadcasting and APN News and Media and broadcasts the MixFM and Classic Hits radio stations around Australia.
